Finca El Roble is a fantasitic coffee with a distinguished pedigree. We have been honored to get to know the family that runs this farm through our visits to Costa Rica the last few years. It's a remarkable farm way up in the mountains of the Tarrazu region. The roads leading to the farm are a little scary at times but the views are absolutely worth it. The farm is operated by Luis Fernando and his wife Emilia Quirós. They achieved a 3rd place finish in the cup of excellence a few years ago and have worked to maintain and even improve quality from that point. We hope you enjoy this coffee from an amazing place and wonderful family. In the cup you'll find a nice balance but a very present acidity. This leads to flavors of maple syrup and citrus with a smooth buttery texture.
